Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority will be welcoming County Show goers to its main stand between August 14th and 16th to find out what makes the National Park special and to join in some fun and games with the family.
Marie Edwards, Marketing & Communications Manager, said: “Our marquee will be celebrating the National Park’s 60th anniversary and is all about giving people the chance to share what they love about the Park and find out more about how best to access and enjoy it.

“There’s a traditional seaside flavour to the activities on offer that we hope children of all ages will enjoy, with free face painting, floor games, ranger activities and a big sandbox for the littlest ones. We’ll also have information about walks in the Park and a host of ideas of how to get out and enjoy the best the Park has to offer.
“We’re hoping to see plenty of people popping in to share their favourite National Park view and enter a competition to win a great prize – a framed professional photo of their view. We really look forward to welcoming people to the Authority’s marquee on the corner of Main and Band Avenue to join in the fun!”
Popular merchandise recently produced as part of the Authority’s 60th anniversary vintage railway poster campaign will also be available to purchase at the Show.
National Park Rangers and other specialist Authority staff will be on hand to talk about their work and provide information and advice. Sustainable Development Fund Officer Emma Taylor will be running a drop-in surgery on Tuesday August 15th for anyone wanting sustainability information or advice and to help people with their fund applications.
The Authority also has a marquee and demonstration site in the Countryside Display Area. Staff from the Authority’s Cilrhedyn Woodland Centre and Woodland team will be making traditional wood crafts and offering advice on woodland management.
